Referral Fees

When you request quotes through our site and subsequently take out an invoice finance facility with one of our partner providers, we may receive a referral fee from that provider. This fee is paid by the provider, not by you, and does not increase the cost of your facility.

Does This Affect Our Rankings?

No. Our comparison tables are ranked by our independent assessment criteria (cost, advance rate, speed, flexibility, and service quality). Whether or not a provider pays us a referral fee has no bearing on their ranking position.

We list providers that do not have a commercial relationship with us alongside those that do, using the same assessment methodology.

What Providers Pay

Referral fees in the invoice finance industry are typically a one-off payment or a small percentage of the facility value. The exact amount varies by provider and facility size, but it is always paid by the provider from their existing margin - it is never added to your costs.

Some providers on our site have no commercial relationship with us at all. They appear in our comparison tables and reviews because they are active in the UK market and our readers deserve to know about them. We believe a comparison site that only features paying partners is not a comparison site - it is an advertising platform.

Why This Model Keeps Rankings Fair

Our rankings are based on six objective criteria: cost competitiveness, advance rates, setup speed, minimum turnover, contract flexibility, and customer service. Every provider is assessed against the same criteria regardless of whether they pay us.

If we ranked paying providers higher, our comparison tables would lose credibility, users would stop trusting our recommendations, and providers would stop paying referral fees because the leads would be low quality. Editorial independence is not just an ethical choice - it is the only business model that works long term.

Your Data

When you submit a quote request, we share your details only with the providers we match you with (up to 3). We do not sell your data to third parties, data brokers, or marketing companies. Your information is used solely to match you with relevant providers.
